It really seems that Skyward Sword won’t give us a break tonight for its official North American website has been updated and we have the details for you guys. Basically the details that they have released are centered around the Lanayru Desert and Lanayru Desert Facility, which is mainly the areas we have been seeing all throughout today. • Lanayru Desert was once a lush green landscape but due to irresponsible actions of past inhabitants, the natural resources of the area have been stripped dry
• There are patches of quicksand in Lanayru Desert
• The pirate is now called Scervo
• Link will battle Scervo somewhere in the Lanayru Sand Sea
• In Lanayru Province, there is a Lightning Round challenge where Link can fight past bosses in succession
• A great sea was once located where Lanayru Sand Sea now exists
• The newest race are called Ancient Robots, they are the remaining workers of the mine after hundreds of years. Many have broken down
• Somewhere in the Lanayru Province there is a Lightning Round Challenge that allows Link to battle past bosses in succession
• The Goron people of the region operate a coaster that runs around and inside the mining facility
• Tilt the coaster to speed up, but if you go to fast you will fall off
• The Clawshots are obtained in this area, one for each hand
• The boss is a cycloptic tenticled sea creature named Tentalus.His tenticles if cut off will regrow after a short amount of time
• It seems the Gust Bellow is also obtained in this area
• The scorpion boss is named Moldarach
• Moldarach’s hard shell resists sword attacks
• In Lanayru Mining Facility there are Timeshift Stones-magical objects that let you manipulate time
