Skyward Sword news has really been pouring in tonight for we have some Skyward Sword footage, which most of is has never been seen before. The conference kicked off with a marvelous video of Link jumping off Skyloft onto his bird, then Shigeru Miyamoto walks in with his Zelda like Sword and Shield and starts to talk about Skyward Sword. Apart from the video that was shown we also have the Japanese box artwork, which will be found after the jump, for Skyward Sword as well as a Japanese release date, which is the 23rd of November 2011.

There is lots of new stuff in this video such as boss fights, enemies, locations, items and much more. First we will discuss the items that were noticed:

- It seems that Link has the Bug Net in the game:
- The Double Clawshot has returned.
- It seems that Link has a Gust Jar.

The enemies that were noticed was:
- The Guardians, once Link get close to them a “Siren Alarm” awakens them sending them into battle.
- There is also some sort of spiked looked enemy that appears in the sand and is revealed once Link blows away the sand.

The New Bosses that were noticed was:
- Some sort of “Windfish” like from Link’s Awakening.
-This huge bare-like creature with no upper body.
Some of the characters looked familiar, one even resembled Beedle from The Wind Waker and The Minish Cap. I shall examine this video much more for any other observations but for now here is the video below along with the regular box artwork.

There is so much more observations that were made such as Link can get back to the Sky by the same beam, which is produced by the bird statue, that showed Link where to drop down to the World below, the Hylian icon has no Triforce but Link can activate them via his sword, there is epic air combat, you can draw and solve puzzles, minecarts which Link can use to ride and there is so much more.
