More rumors have surfaced about the Wii 2 and this one is form Gameolosophy stating that Nintendo is planning on releasing Skyward Sword when they are releasing Wii 2 next year. Keep this in mind that this is just a rumor and has not been confirmed by Nintendo, we will just need to wait until E3 to really know what Nintendo is doing. If Skyward Sword is got to be released when Wii 2 is released this could be a repeat of Twilight Princess for those who do not know Twilight Princess was delayed until the Wii 1 was released and is also out for the Gamecube.
This is what Gameolosophy stated in their post about the delay:
Nintendo is thinking about launching Zelda: Skyward Sword around the same time as Wii 2 since Wii 2 is backwards compatible with Wii 1 games. They want to follow the same strategy when they launched Pokemon Black/White when 3DS was coming out.
Nintendo has yet to release a statement confirming this, we will just need to wait until E3, or lucky before that, for Nintendo to have they say on this.
