That’s right, it seems that the Game Informer October issue that Zelda fan’s can’t wait to see has finally been revealed and we have the Skyward Sword scans for you guys. We are unable to prove that these scans are real nor fake but nevertheless they  are interesting to view. We can’t get much information out of these scans but the do  show you the Sky World map for the game, a new item which looks familiar and a Guardian which can possibly be an enemy. Jump inside for the pictures but i must warn you, it is a spoiler.

UPDATE: we have more information regarding these scans from various sources which you can find after the jump.

First up is the new item

This item looks rather familiar, kind of like the Mole Mitts from The Minish Cap. Could this be one of the new items that’s in Skyward Sword? The scan doesn’t provide any further information as to what they are or their function but my guesses it will provide the same function as the Mole Mitts did.

Next on the list, is the Sky Map

This one looks rather neat, judging from the map this must be the entire Sky World. The different symbols shows where portals are to the land below, islands in the sky and it seems that it also show’s where Link can drop down and call his bird. If you do look closer at the map you can see where you must zoom out you see “World Map”, while we don’t have a image to show you the world map it seems that you can swap between maps by simply zooming in and out. There is also something that caught my eye and its that small light blue, it seems that could may play as the a portal (because of the “1″ notification) taking Link’s to either the forest, which is the blue ones, or the volcanic areas, the red one. We shall update this map once more information becomes available.

And the final image

This looks like the guardians from the ‘Siren World’ (or as Game Informer calls it the ‘Silent Realm’). It seems what he is holding a Sword which can mean that he could be an enemy in the game. We will get you guys more information on these so called “Guardians” once more information is provided.

We will keep you guys updated on this story and provide you with more information regarding this, maybe even new screenshots.

UPDATE: More information coming to you from GameFAQs:

- If Link’s hanging from a ledge and enemies are up above, they’ll try to step on his fingers to make him fall.
- When enemies are knocked off of high ledges, they won’t “disappear” until they hit the ground.
- Bokoblins that carry horns will use them to summon reinforcements.
- When Link is on fire, if he tries to use a Bomb it will explode instantly.
- If you’re running low on Bombs, you can pick up Bomb Flowers and add them to your Bomb Bag.
