We have exclusive never before seen Skyward Sword footage for you guys straight from Game Informer’s Zelda Hub. This is one out of 5 exclusive videos that they plan to reveal to us. This video demonstrates how Link will get his bird right after he jumps off of Skyloft and how he even lands, apparently he has some sort of parachute, which is called “Sailcloth”, to help him land safely on the ground. This video also shows a first glimpse of Eldin Volcano which according to Phi “is an active volcano with the power of the Earth”. This video is something to watch so jump inside to view it. But I must warn you, this is a spoiler.
Here is the exclusive video
Apparently the red colored beacon can tell you where an island is located so you can use that point to jump off your bird, you can even set your own beacon to search for specific islands in Skyloft
As the video shows, Link can leap from any of the many floating islands of Skyloft and call his bird to begin flight. Once flying, players can move toward colored beacons that let you know where you can jump to areas below the clouds. Players will also be able to place their own beacons to search specific islands in Skyloft — but we’ll see some of that in a later video. When he falls to the ground, Link will need to pull out a sailcloth to act as a parachute if he wants to avoid damage.
This is one out of 5 videos that Game Informer plans to reveal so keep checking back with us for the rest, we will be sure to keep you updated.
