These Timelines are not anyone in particulars beliefs, these are just so that you can understand some of the most common and strongly held timelines and theories. The three main types are: Split Timeline, Multiple Ganon Timeline, and Single Link Timeline also known as the One Legend Timeline.
There are tons of opinions on these timelines and theories. Some of the most heated fan disputes are about the order in which the games happen in Hyrule and Zelda History. If you don’t agree with what you are reading it is totally fine. These are just so that you can understand and get a good idea on the possible order of the 14 games of the Zelda Franchise. Some of the games don’t fit too well into either of the timelines or theories (Oracle of Seasons and Ages) but that’s because there is no perfect Zelda Time Line.
There will probably never be a “perfect” Zelda timeline. There are just too many games to adhere to. Too many rules, opinions and fan boys of each game. But what these are for is so that you can understand the epic story of the Legend of Zelda Franchise!
