Once Link has conquered the Fortress of Winds, he is able to summon a bird using the Ocarina. Wind Crests act as a sort of warp point. Upon examination of a Wind Crest statue, a small explosion will occur leaving behind the Wind Crest symbol.

 

 1 – Wind Crest
Location: Hyrule Town

Go through the northern exit of Hyrule Town and advance to North Hyrule Field. There lies a Wind Crest on the west side of the school.

 

 

 

 2 – Wind Crest
Location: Minish Woods

Take the left exit out of the Minish Village. Resize yourself and advance upwards.

 

 

 

 

 3 – Wind Crest
Location: South Hyrule Field

This Wind Crest is quite simply northeast of Link’s house.

 

 

 

 

 4 – Wind Crest
Location: Mount Crenel

You can reach this Wind Crest two different ways. South of the Cave of Flames, or west of Melari’s Mines.

 

 

 

 

 5 – Wind Crest
Location: Castor Wilds

Located in the southern area of Castor Wilds, east of the large swamp.

 

 

 

 

 6 – Wind Crest
Location: Lake Hylia

This Wind Crest is only accessible through the entrance to Lake Hylia from the Lon Lon Ranch. Also, it is inaccessible without the Ocarina of Wind. It’s already marked on your map so there is no point in seeking it out.

 

 

 

 

 7 – Wind Crest
Location: Veil Falls

As you climb the Veil Falls, it is located on the left.

 

 

 

 

 8 – Wind Crest
Location: Cloud Tops

It is outside the house located on the second level.
