In a recent interview with Zelda’s very own Eiji Aonuma, he talks about a huge topic that has been going around ever since it was officially announced that Ganaon would not be in Skyward Sword. In a recent interview over on IGN Aonuma and Kondo was able to discuss the music aspect of Skyward Sword and how it is “different” from other Zelda games and the experience it will bring to players. Kondo also said that he organically composed one song for the game and that’s what you will hear at the beginning of the game, it makes sense though since some of the soundtrack that’s been heard has been featured in various Zelda titles. Ever wandered what happen to Majora’s Mask support for the 3DS? Well according to Eiji Aonuma the idea hasn’t been 100% rolled out, instead they want to create a brand new Zelda title exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS. They feel that with the recent release of Ocarina of Time 3D they felt that it was unnecessary to release to remakes at once and for that reason they will bring a new title to the 3DS. In a recent interview with a Portuguese gaming site called MyGames, Aonuma stated the following
“We are already preparing a new game, a game in the series for the Nintendo 3DS, but don’t think that it is a direct sequel to the Zelda titles released on DS. We are talking about a new game, but it takes much of what has been done on previous consoles.”
