IGN Sources Confirm Project Cafe New Details

We may be late but better late than never. New details, well rumors, have emerged about the Wii 2 which has the codename “Project Cafe”. IGN sources have confirmed that the controller will come with a 6-inch touch screen and it will allow players to stream games on it. The controller will also mirror the GameCube controller functions containing trigger buttons and a d-pad. Also they were able to confirm with their sources that it will be presented at E3 but what they were not able to confirm was whether it will be in just video form or it can be playable.

With all these functions on the controller we can say that it will be a bulky controller, maybe even bigger that the XBox controller, something that can bring about issues to players. Also with the issue of streaming games on the controller it may also bring about a problem to persons, not everybody will want all these features in the controller. If the rumors happen to be true Nintendo should consider creating controllers that don’t contain all these features. A French website called 01net has also released their article about this.
