Storyline

This story takes place sometime after The Wind Waker. Tetra, along with her crew and Link were chasing down a ghost ship claimed to have kidnapped residents and sailors of the islands. When they discover the ship Tetra goes aboard but then she disappears. Link tried to follow her but he only ends up in the ocean.

Later on Link recovers with the aid of a fairy named Ciela and a old man called Oshus. They aid link on his quest to find the ghost ship and rescue Tetra. While on their adventure the find Captain Linebeck and his ship. He only offered to help so he can find treasure on the way. Link learns later on that to learn of the ghost ship’s whereabouts he must find three spirits, the Spirits of Courage, Wisdom, and Power, using maps and clues that lay hidden in the Temple of the Ocean King. With the aid of the Sands of Hours within the Phantom Hourglass Link can get pass the forces of darkness and locate the two out of three spirits, only to find out that his fairy Ciela is the Spirit of Courage. It is also revealed that Oshus is the Ocean King. Link succeeds in his quest to rescue Tetra only to find her as a statue. Regardless of Bellum’s life-draining power Lin continues but Linebeck refuses to aid Link having come this far without any treasure but agrees to continue once Oshus promises to grant Linebeck one wish.

To defeat Bellum Link must forge the Phantom Sword from three unique and pure metals founded on nearby islands. After gathering and using the metals to forge the Phantom Sword, Link goes to the bottom level of the Temple to face Bellum.
