Above is a trailer that you will never forget for it’s the best trailer so far for Skyward Sword. This trailer show’s off the “Harp” you see Zelda hold’s, apparently this harp is much more than what it appears to be for in this trailer you can see how it works and it is really epic. A majority of the scenes in this footage has never been seen before so it is a heavy spoiler. I’ll let you watch it to see just how epic it really is, but it is your choice for it is a major spoiler.

Nintendo of America’s President Reggie Fils-Aime is the star of the first ever regular Nintendo Direct episodes. In this episode Reggie discusses the new editions to their online world. First up is added Hulu Plus for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii systems which would be available by the end of this year. With the power of Hulu Plus, users can now stream and watch their favorite episodes right on their console. Also he stated that towards the end of November their will be system update for all 3DS users which will include the ability to video record in 3D. The system update will have much more functions but i’ll let Reggie tell you himself.

Remember just yesterday we gave you guys the first ever Skyward Sword review from OMN which scored 98%? Well now its time for EDGE Magazine to give their views on Skyward Sword. They gave the game a perfect 10/10 score and for a magazine that’s a tough cookie when it comes to reviews Skyward Sword blew them away, this is truly fantastic news. Lets see what they had to say about the game

We have a press release for you guys, Nintendo has sent out a PR stating how Link’s adventure would be once he reaches Eldin Volcano in Skyward Sword. We all know that in every Zelda title once you hit a new area you should find some new items or upgrades, a new race, new enemies etc well for Skyward Sword its not so different for once you reach Eldin Volcano you get two new items, Digging Mitts and the Bomb Bag. Also on your quest to the Earth Temple you will meet a new race called the Mogma, where they will aid you in your quest to get passed the volcano. The Harp has also been confirmed for the game but you will get that later on in your quest. Jump inside for the full press release.

As we draw near to Skyward Sword’s release it seems we will be blasted with various footage, details, screenshots and more from the game. Today the official Japanese Skyward Sword website has been updated with three new videos plus some screenshots that have for you guys right after the post jump so check that out. Both the footage and screenshots show some new areas in both the Earth Temple and Eldin Volcano and they also show some gameplay footage of Link travelling between the Sky and the land below, it also shows how Link gets when he is exhausted from running. So check all of this out right after the post jump.

Recently we have been posted about some Zelda-themed pre-paid cards heading to both the United States and Europe? Well now their heading as far down as Australia. They aren’t the same as what we have seen before but if you take a look at the image to your left you can see what you Aussies will get. As you can see from the image their two pre-paid cards, one which features a Mario-theme which is worth $15 and the other one is the Zelda-themed pre-paid card which is worth $30. Not too bad it seems Aussies and New Zealand residents will get in on the Zelda-themed pre-paid cards but am guessing their trying to be unique. For those who live in Australia the cards can be bought at Dick Smith, EB Games and GAME and for those who live in New Zealand the cards can be purchased at EB Games.

Remember we told you guys about Official Nintendo Magazine giving Skyward Sword its first official review? Well today is the day that we give you this review. OMN has gave Skyward Sword a 98 out of 100 and calls its the ”best Zelda game ever made.” This is surly going to bring up the hype about Skyward Sword for other games such as Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galxy 2 in previous reviews which all scored 97%. This is the highest rating that OMN has ever given a Wii game and this score also puts Skyward Sword on the same ball as Ocarina of Time 3D. Here is what OMN had to say on this:
It’s not something we say lightly, but the Zelda series really has never been this good.
