    Storyline

The Game starts off with a fairy named Navi is set off to find a boy that is summoned by the Great Deku Tree. This boy has been having nightmares of a girl fleeing from an evil man clad in black on horseback. This boy was the only boy in the entire Kokiri Forest that did not have his own guardian fairy for he was not like one of the Kokiri’s. This boy is known as Link. When Navi finds Link Navi tells him that he has been summoned by the Great Deku Tree. The Great Deku Tree is going to test Links courage by allowing him to proceed inside his trunk to break the curse that was cast upon him by the wicked man from Link’s dream.

Link was able to break the curse but it was already too late for the Great Deku Tree’s curse had taken full effect before Link broke it. With his last breath The Great Deku Tree gives Link the Kokiri’s Emerald, the Spiritual Stone of the Forest and tells him to go see Princess Zelda at Hyrule Castle.

As Link reaches the Castle he notices that there guards everywhere and that to see the Princess he must by pass the guards. As Link was able to bypass the guards he reaches in the courtyard where he meets Hyrule’s Princess, Zelda.

Princess Zelda explains to Link of the dreams that she has been having and that in her dreams she had seen a boy from the forest come to lift the darkness, accompanied by a fairy and bearing a green and shining stone. She also tells him about a man that is in the castle and shows Link him. This is the desert man clothed in black that Zelda believes is the cause of the darkness. He is known as Ganondorf. His plan is to steal the Triforce from the Sacred Realm. With that power Ganondorf can fulfill his desire to plunge Hyrule into a land of darkness but in order for him to do so he needs to open the Door of Time. To do such he will need the three Spiritual Stones and the Ocarina of Time. Zelda urges Link to get the other two Spiritual Stones so they can beat Ganondorf to the Triforce and put a stop to his plans.

When Link successfully managed to get the other two Spiritual Stones and is returning to Hyrule Castle, he see’s Zelda fleeing from the castle with her loyal attendant, Impa from Ganondorf, just as he has seen it from his dream. Zelda throws Link the Ocarina of Time so he can enter the Sacred Realm and retrieve the Triforce as she is fleeing. He encounters Ganondorf and as he lost sight of Zelda, Link refuses to answer Ganondorf on Zelda’s direction. When Link withdraws his sword Ganondorf blast him with dark magic rendering Link unconscious and continue his pursuit of the princess.

When Link awakes he retrieves the Ocarina of Time he gets a message from Zelda and goes off to the Temple of Time. As Link enters the Temple of Time he heads towards the altar where he must place the three Spiritual Stones and play’s the Song of Time. With that set the Door of Time opens revealing the Master Sword, the blade of evil’s bane, resting in the Pedestal of Time. When Link withdraws the sword from the Pedestal of Time he unlocks the gateway Sacred Realm but Link is not the only one who travels to the Sacred Realm. Ganondorf suspected that Link will do his work for him and now he too crosses over into the Sacred Realm.

Seven years later Link awakens in the Chamber of Sages and is offered the Medallion of Light by Raru, the Sage of Light. Raru also explains to Link what has happened and that he must get the other Medallion’s to free Hyrule from Ganondorf’s dark curse.
