We all heard about these rumors and so forth about the Wii U, especially if you are a frequent visitor here. One of the developers, Patrick Liu, behind the Battlefield franchise has told Official Nintendo Magazine that they see the Wii U’s potential but have yet to come up with a successful idea to exploit the system. It seems that Liu, along with the team of developers behind the Battlefield franchise, are extremely excited about the Wii U. He is convinced that the Wii U will prove persons wrong, just like it did for him. Jump inside to see what he said about the Wii U.
“We definitely see potential in the Wii U. But I wish I had the breakthrough idea for how to exploit the new controller.”
“We’re definitely looking into what kind of new stuff we can do with Wii U. I don’t have that idea yet.
“Nintendo has surprised us so many times before. I was one of the sceptics when the Wii came out and it proved us wrong. I think they’re going to prove a lot of sceptics wrong again.”
If you are a skeptic of the Wii U I hope that this can, in some way, shine some light on you so that you can look forward to Nintendo’s next-gen system. To me its a mixture, while I do like the controller and looking forward to trying it out myself the system itself has me second guessing. Maybe with more information that will be released later on down the line can change my mind on this.
