According to Nintendo Life.com: There’s been some positive news for Nintendo in Japan with the 3DS reclaiming top spot in the Hardware charts, according to Media Create weekly sales charts. The 3DS sold 58,837 units to seize the crown, an increase on the previous week: with no major new releases on the handheld last week it is a reasonably impressive showing. It could be argued that the modest bump in sales is a positive reaction to the Tokyo 3DS press conference on 13th September, with a number of high profile game announcements made. Whatever the reason, it is a welcome boost for the company.
Well that’s good news for Nintendo, who has been having struggling sales and a 5% stock decrease a week or so ago. Will the 3DS continue to shine through with sales? Hopefully for Nintendo, the 3DS will remain on top for a while so they can regain some market share. Dragon Quest Collection was also released for the Wii, and that has helped Nintendo’s sales also.
