  • Storyline

After Ganondorf’s defeat in Ocarina of Time Link is sent back to his time so that he may relive his childhood. Months after he goes off on a journey to search for an unnamed friend. While travelling in the Lost Woods Link is knocked off his horse, Epona, by two fairies Tatl and Tael and goes unconscious. While so a Skull Kid appears wearing the Majora’s Mask searches Link and finds the Ocarina of Time. When Link awakes the Skull Kid rides off with Epona. Link follows them only to fall into a portal that leads him into a strange parallel world called Termina. When Link lands he confronts Skull Kid who then transforms Link into a Deku Scrub with the aid of the Majora’s Mask. When Skull Kid leaves Tatl is separated from her brother, Tael and is now joined up with Link to help reunite her with her brother.

Upon reaching the surface Link meets the Happy Mask Salesman from Ocarina of Time. He agrees to change Link back to normal if he can get back the Ocarina of Time but in exchange he must get back the Majora’s Mask. He also tells Link that he is a busy person and that he must leave in three days. As Link now makes his exit he ends up in middle part of a town known as Clock Town which is in the center of Termina. Link learns that the town is getting ready for the festival that they have annually called the Carnival of Time. Link also learn that theirs a threat over the town which is the Moon, in three days the mood will crash onto the land to destroy Termina.

While Link is intown he comes across a group of kids known as the Bombers who have a way for Link to reach the Astral Observatory since the guards will not let Link leave town as a deku. At the Astral Observatory Link discovers the Skull Kids is at the top of the Clock Tower. When it’s midnight on the third day the Clock Tower opens and Link is able to confront Skull Kid once again. When Link gets back the Ocarina he regains the memory of Princess Zelda teaching him the Song of Time. As he play’s the song he is returned back to the first day. Before Link is sent back to the first day he leans that to defeat the Skull Kid he must rescue the Four Giants who are believed to be the guardian gods of Termina from their curse masked forms.

After Link frees the Four Giants he goes back to the top of the Clock Tower to face Skull Kid but this time the song he plays is Oath to Order which will summon the Four Giants to stop the moon from destroying Termina but even as they have stopped the moon that does not mean that they have stopped the Majora Mask…..
