Box Formation
You can get this formation by pressing UP on the C-Stick. You can use this formation for moving large blocks, lifting large rocks and activating some switches. You can also use it to deal with enemies in small places.

 

 

 

 

 

Cross Formation
You can get this formation by pressing LEFT on the C-Stick. This formation is rarely used but can be most used when you’re surrounded by enemies and can be used to activate switches.

 

 

 

 

 

Long Formation
You can get this formation by pressing DOWN on the C-Stick. You can use this formation to defended a target, push blocks left and right and to battle enemies in a vertical form.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wide Formation
You can get this formation by pressing RIGHT on the C-Stick. You can use this formation to defended a target, push blocks up and down and to battle enemies in a horizontal form.
