Just this week we got to know of Skyward Sword’s America, 20th November, and Europe, 18th November, release dates while Japan and Australia dates remain unknown to us. Now we can give you guys, especially those of you who live in the Australia and New Zealand region, a window of opportunity to get Skyward Sword. Gamespot AU called up Nintendo and while Nintendo didn’t give them any specific date on when the game it will be released they did say that the game will be released before “Christmas 2011″.

“No release date for Australia and New Zealand has been confirmed at this time; however, it is planned to be released before Christmas 2011.”

Australia is always a few weeks behind in game releases, take Ocarina of Time 3D for example it was released 2 weeks after the game was released in Japan, Europe and America leaving Australia in the dark for that long. Maybe Skyward Sword will follow the same path or it could be sooner than expected but not around the same time as the rest of the regions. We will keep you Aussies updated once a release date has been confirmed.
